NetMRI 'run now' variable input page

I just started using the job function to run a job for a device group.  The Run Configuration Command job page appears with the variable(s) to set, but also includes a line labeled "Device Names", which is empty.  Well, I selected a device group that contained 14 devices.  I didn't see them listed here and decided to keep going without listing them to see what happens.

I was glad to see that the job ran on all 14 devices.

So what is the Device Names line supposed to do?  I looked in the documentation and didn't see it described in the section about jobs.

    Thanks!

"DeviceNames" would appear to be a variable defined in your script, in the Script-Variables section.  During execution, you will be prompted to provide values for all variables defined in this section.

Which script are you running when you see this prompt?  If it is one of the NetMRI's built-in ones, we may need to update it to provide a description of this variable.

The only variable in my script is 'Debug'.  You can see the same thing using the built-in Ad-Hoc Command Execution job.  When you start it and select a device group, you'll find the device list under the section where you enter the command(s) to be executed.  See the attached image.

I've never put anything in the device list field when I have a device group selected.  This field doesn't appear when I select a specific set of devices instead of a group.  Maybe it allows adding specific devices in addition to the device group.  I've not experimented with it to see exactly what it does.
