Depending on how your NetMRI is licensed to handle Device Management, this can happen in one of 2 ways:

Automatic Device Discovery: Your NetMRI will automatically discover and manage new devices within a specified IP range.
Individual Device Management: Your NetMRI will manage individually specified devices.

To determine what kind of Device Management your license provides for, Navigate to Settings>Setup. If you see an option for Discovery Settings, then your license allows for Automatic Device Discovery, otherwise your license allows for Individual Device Management. Please use the appropriate steps below to manage new devices.

Automatic Device Discovery
1. Navigate to Settings>Setup>Discovery Settings.
2. Add new devices (to be automatically discovered) by entering a appropriate CIDR(s) into the CIDR Blocks Table.
Note: You can import a list of CIDR's by using the Import CIDR Blocks Tool.

Individual Device Management
1. Navigate to Settings>Setup>Setup Wizard.
2. Complete Step 1 of the Setup Wizard, specifiying the IP of any device(s) you wish to manage via the NetMRI.
