    API Samples Question

I've been trying to play around with some of the NetMRI API samples but for some reason I am not getting any data back.  For example when running the findit.pl script I am receiving the message below:

    findit.pl 192.168.1.1

    H202 Accepted at C:\Perl\lib\NetMRI\API\samples\findit.pl line 11

It looks like the request is being submitted but no data is being returned outside of the H202 message.  We are running version 4.2.0.60 and I have my credentials specified correctly in the netmri.cfg file.

    Re: API Samples Question

At 1st blush, it would appear that you have installed the API on a Windows platform.

The API shipped w/NetMRI and available via download from NetMRI is NOT compatible w/Windows. As originally documented this application is compatible with only Linux/Unix. There is a Windows compatible version of NetMRI available from the Support team.

    Re: API Samples Question

Thanks.  I did have it installed on a Windows system.  I installed it on a Linux system and it still appears to generate the same message:

    [root@localhost samples]# ./findit.pl 192.168.1.1

    H202 Accepted at ./findit.pl line 11

The API file that I used for the install was from netmri-perl-api-090504.tar.gz.  Is it possible that I have an outdated version of the API?

    Re: API Samples Question

I've used the s/w on ubuntu (my server), centos (netmri v4), and windows w/AS Perl. The windows s/w required an API specific to windows and AS-Perl.  Here's my email-id: mvasquez@netcordia.com... send me an email directly and I'll send you the windows specific s/w.
