The Complete Network Access Security Solution
The CiscoSecure UNIX Server, the first product resulting from theCCCIand Cisco strategic technology development agreement(see article titled CCCI And Cisco Sign Strategic Technology Development Agreement), uses the TACACS+ security protocol(see article titled Solving Dail-in Access Security Problems) to offer secure enterprise dial-up access and router management in one package.
CiscoSecure will be sold and supported by Cisco while development, consulting services, installation, configuration, and turnkey CiscoSecure systems will be available from CCCI. With CiscoSecure, no matter how large your enterprise is or how many access servers it contains, security can be controlled conveniently from a single point.

- Centralized security server storing global defaults, as well as user and group profiles for authentication, authorization and accounting

- Full packet encryption between Network Access Server (NAS) and the CiscoSecure server
