The server on which either CiscoWorks or CiscoSecure runs should be protected from unauthorized access. Both of these systems are central to the proper operation and security of your network. The basic steps to securing these systems include installing all operating system security patches (CERT advisories), enabling only the required network services, and logging all significant system events.
