2) To get rid of the Sybase isql annoying message "xxx rows affected", put "set nocount on" in your SQL scripts.
3) There is a new option on nmconf: synconf, which causes nmconfig to not only pull back configs but put them in Sybase and set the 'L' loaded flag, IF they are different than what's stored. (That last bit helps keep from putting superfluous copies into Sybase).
4) The new CiscoWorks multi patch fixes some problems with the new naming convention, dual flash bank IOS downloads, etc. Worth trying!
